New Arrivals Round Up 5/17/19

Updated: May 18, 2019

Release Date: Friday, May 17th

See what our talented sewists were inspired to make!

TWO FAN FAVORITE FABRIC BASES!

ITY is slick and cool, perfect for flowy summer makes!

Liverpool is a structured fabric, giving interest and body to pleats and other details. Great for shorts, pants, twirly skirts.

Amelia Lane Designs created this handy info sheet to help understand all the fabric bases!

ITY SOLIDS!

Amelia Lane Designs offers solids in double brushed polyester and rayon spandex. Now you can find three colors of ITY also!

Solids are great own their own or coordinating with a print!

Kendel made a La Croix top by Winter Wear Designs using the Brooks ITY fabric with the Turquoise ITY coordinate! I also love her Mamma Can Do It Fit Pants shorts in Grayson Liverpool.

Here's Kendel's affiliate link for Winter Wear Designs and Mamma Can Do It!

ITY Solids now available in Turquoise, Coral and Plum!

Jessica paired a Amy maxi skirt by Greenstyle in solid turquoise ITY with a solid black heavyweight rayon spandex Greenstyle green tee top. Both fabrics are perfect for keeping cool in hot summer weather! Jessica lives in one of the hottest parts of the United States but looks like she's keeping her cool!

Gwen is always so bright and cheerful, it's no surprise she wanted to sew up some turquoise ITY She made the boatneck tee by Winter Wear Designs!

Kelle made an Omega top by Winter Wear Designs. What an awesome scrap buster project! I think I recognize this fabric from the Inspired Bundles!

Emily made a George & Ginger With Love Dress with the Coral ITY. ITY is lightweight so it's not only cool to wear, it's perfect for something with a gathered feature like the waist of this dress!

Love Notion's Hip Hop tank was calling Jessica for her Coral ITY sew! The drape is great for this kind of detail! The fabric is cool to the touch and Jessica's make is even cooler!

Jan made this pretty batwing blouse with the coral solid ITY! Can you believe it's free from Wolf and Tree? It's called the Flair top. The great thing about solids is that it's the same color on both sides. So it's really perfect for something like this where you'll want to be showing off your sleeve hem!

The plum ITY inspired Gwen to make her vision come true by hacking the All Season Dolman by Annelaine patterns to have an elastic waist!

Laura, elegant as always! Such lovely perfection in her plum ITY Olympia Dress by Love Notions.

Let's brighten things up even more! New ITY Prints!

Doesn't this photo just capture how carefree summer feels when you're young?! Gwen made her sister this Chloe skirt by Made for Mermaids in the Shelby ITY fabric. Another free pattern!

Looks like Lakeisha has been practicing her twirling. The underside of this Shelby ITY is as pretty as the right side! Perfect for twirly skirts. Lakeisha used the Date Night Dress patter by Rad Patterns to make this dreamy summer dress!

Kelle used the Shelby ITY fabric to make the Lelani Romper by ModKid. Katy is hosting a sewlong in the Amelia Lane Designs Facebook group right now for another great ModKid pattern. Come sew with us!

Breezy, easy and free! Shakita made the Cora Culottes by Made for Mermaids in Brooks ITY.

Andrea used the Brooks ITY to make this Striped Swallow Shorewalk top to go with her teal ponte Sabrina Slims pants by Love Notions. She's so coordinated! The watch, the nails, the sews... she's owning these colors!

Another summery, cool look for Shakita! This is the Ellie and Mac Southshore Romper in Geneva ITY! I've always wanted to try a romper but haven't found the right inspiration yet. This might just be it. I could picture myself copy-catting Shakita!

Jessica made the Miss Ruby Tuesday by 1 Puddle Lane in Geneva ITY. The clean lines and perfect fit of her make are really showing off what this ITY fabric can be! I betcha she wears this dress at least once a week all summer long! :-)

Fan Favorite: Liverpool

The ALD Facebook Group knows what it likes...... FABRIC! Pretty much all fabrics LOL but one thing that never fails to get excitement happening is new liverpool fabrics! Four new liverpool prints are available now!

Sonia and her adorable son are matching in the Derby striped liverpool! The jade color is really close to the sold out jade dots liverpool. Sonia made herself the Fairweather Trousers by Petite Stitchery and the Brindle and Twig Summer Romper for her little guy. These two look like they're getting a super fun summer off to a great start.

Jody made herself a Mother's Day Outfit with the Derby liverpool! Her Made for Mermaids Joy Dress shows off how amazing liverpool is for pleats! So stylish and just perfect for Mother's Day brunch and mimosas! I always love being inspired by Jody's style!

I think of all the fabric stocked so far, the Derby inspired first sews have had the greatest variety. The sewists each had a different vision and Derby Liverpool was able to fulfill them all! Kayliegh went a little more casual but still super summery with her Helen Drawstring Dress by the Do It Better Yourself Club.

Just the sweetest! Jess made this Maxx-ine Skirt by Love Notions Patterns with the new Berlin liverpool. Darling!

There is some serious cuteness happening in these new liverpools! Brittanie made this Adeline dress by Made for Mermaids in the White Dots on Navy Liverpool. I bet it's fun to twirl in this!

Ahhh! Too much cuteness!

Kendel made this Clover Top by Ellie and Mac in White Dots on Navy Liverpool. The high-love hem really stands out for extra drama in the structured liverpool fabric! She's also wearing Grayson liverpool shorts just like her mom!

Brandi was feeling the peplum love for liverpool as well! She made this Essential Set peplum by Rain City Patterns using the new Magnolia liverpool fabric. These colors feel really summery, but they'll be perfect for fall too! The body of the liverpool makes peplums so fun to wear!

Diane made herself a CKC Coffee Break maxi skirt with the Magnolia liverpool fabric. She's such a beautiful, sweet person and I just love how she paired the skirt with a simple black top to let these colors speak!

Putting it all together to be All Put Together!

These fabrics weren't originally listed as coordinates for each other but Sonia had vision and she saw how well they would compliment one another. She made a whole outfit out of this round's new arrival fabrics and it's just everything!

Can't wait to see what these talented sewists have in store for next week! Yep! More coming next week!
